Without a doubt, spices are an essential part to any great Pho dish. Using a blend of anise stars, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and pepper, the infusion of flavours and aromas make your taste buds dance with every spoonful.

Rice noodles

The preparation of authentic Pho noodles is an important step to the creation of this dish. Since rice noodles are quite delicate, it’s traditional to cook them separately and on their own to prevent the noodles from overcooking in the hot broth. Rice noodles are added along with the herbs and sliced meat, then topped with the steamy broth for the perfect finish.

Lean Protein

Traditionally, one the final layers to an excellent Pho dish is the lean protein. At The Wrap and Roll Corner, we prepare our dishes with thinly sliced beef sirloin cooked in the simmering broth to help infuse the flavours and aromas together.

We pride ourselves in the creation of authentic Vietnamese cuisine — and with this, no shortcuts! For our Pho broth, we start from scratch by simmering beef bones, beef broth, and an arrangement of delightful herbs and spices for the most authentic Vietnamese flavourings.

Eating Pho without the fresh herbs or veggies is like eating a sandwich without lettuce, tomatoes or onions. The herbs and veggies work together to accentuate the flavours and balance the broth. Our Pho dish is made with green onion, shallots and a hint of ginger.

Traditional Toppings

Unlike most soup recipes, Pho is best served with plenty of traditional topping. We prepare our Pho with fresh herbs, combining basil, saw leaves, lime, horn chilli, and dried tangerine peel to help tie together the entire dish.
